"And he gave some to be
apostles; and some, prophets; and some evangelists; and some pastors and
teachers; for the equipping of the saints unto the work of ministry, unto
the building up of the body of Christ: till we all attain unto the unity
of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a full grown
man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:"
To have every member of the church connected to a small
home group for ministry where there would be the teaching of the Word of
God, worship and pastoral care.
To provide opportunities for all members, regardless of age, to be
equipped for ministry by means of: teaching, seminars, workshops, conferences,
etc.
A place where all of the
family and individuals can grow to their full potential in Christ
To provide a Christian Day Care to serve the community at large, where
young children can be taught the values of the Kingdom of God.
To establish a School of Ministry and an adult lay ministry-training
centre, where future leaders of the Kingdom of God will be trained, nurtured
and mentored.
To recognize the church's responsibility to care for the widow and
the orphan ... both within the church and the community.
To have a vibrant Youth and Children's Ministry
This fourfold purpose characterized
Jesus Christ's entire ministry, and will continue to be fulfilled by the
church as long as it is on earth. Jesus ministered the Father's heart
throughout His ministry as He said, "I only do what
I see the Father doing."' (John 5:19)
And we the church minister
the Father's Heart through the charismatic gifts of the Holy Spirit which
were outpoured on the day of Pentecost for all believers.
